From the Floating Log at Frogmorton

Ring Daze

Out of the Shire and into the woods
Frodo's the hobbit who's got the goods.
Old Man Willow & Tom Bombadillo;
Into the barrow and out on the grass.
Now we're petrified down to the bone,
Minions of evil won´t leave us alone.

Oh, no, Riders from Hell
They can't really see, but boy do they smell!
Hiding for hours with nothing to eat
We're fortunate hobbits are quite discreet.
Back on the road, and onward to Bree
That Ranger must know how mean he looks.

So many Big Folk, all at once
As usual Pippin plays the dunce.
Frodo jumps up, takes over the room
Sings Bilbo's song about the Moon.
Everything's fine, right up to the end
But then like a  fool he sings it again

Drops his finger right into the ring
Crash, clatter, bump, he almost blew the whole thing.
Gandalf's letter says Strider's all right.
All of our ponies took off in the night.
Bill Ferny comes out to watch us go
Sam's apple hits him in the nose.

Hail, hail Rivendell
Deliver us at the Bruinen Ford
Frodo looks like hell
But with Elrond's help he'll get well.
Gandalf's here at last
I feel the worst of it must be past.
